Gucci Mane Remixes

Gucci Mane!? What da hell!?  That ain't underground!  Yeah I know,  everyone knows Gucci, but not everyone may know the producers that made these remixes.  This album is a compilation of artists, such as Hudson Mohawke and Mista Men, that helped flip some Gucci Mane tracks.  Download the album below and get ready to parttttyyyy.

EarToEar

Yo yo yo It's my BIRTHDAY TODAY!  AW YEAH. Before I get the festivities started I got to hear a little gift for my ears this morning by the group Ear To Ear.  One of the members of the group is a good friend of mine and they make some hot tracks.  Their music reminds me a lot of Daft Punk and Justice with the way that they sample and construct their beats.  Listen to the fresh beats by clicking the link below.  As for myself, it's time to eat some b-day cake.

Gorilla Warfare Tactics

The rap group from NYU caught my attention a couple weeks back. They have a real knack for producing an old-school hip hop style when they make their tracks.  Check out their latest mixtape Premier.  GWT has got some good stuff; so get downloading son.

Madvillain

Here's a little treat for all you MF Doom/Madlib fans out there.  I know it's been a while since they released any new stuff since Madvillainy, but hopefully their album will arrive soon (even though its been like 9 years).  Here is a single that they have released below and it's pretty dope.  In the meantime , just keep your eye out like aye aye captain for new stuff from this duo.

Sam.I.Yam

When you make beats you gotta go for that big sound.  In Samiyam's case, he has that "CHAMPION SOUND" (notice the use of caps lock here).  The producer outta Ann Arbor Michigan has some of the most creative material that I've ever heard.  A lot of his beats are so distorted and dismantled that I can't even recognize the original melody of the track that he sampled.  His beats are so raw that I just wanna punch a deer in the face.  Ok, maybe I went a little too far with that, but you get the idea.  This guy's stuff is awesome and you need to check it out.  Just for future reference; deer are chill animals, I don't punch them in the face.

Onra

Arnaud Bernard, better known by his stage name Onra, is a french hip hop beatmaker who resides in Paris.  A lot of his beats are linked to his nationality and culture.  In 2006 Onra went to Vietnam, where his grandparents are from, and brought back some 30 old Chinese and Vietnamese vinyl records. He then made a full album with this material, Chinoiseries, his most critically acclaimed album.  His single on the album, The Anthem, was chosen to be played in the Coca-Cola commercial for the Beijing Olympics.  This dude is legit dawg.  For real.  So I suggest that you check out his latest album Long Distance.  It's all about those 80's samples baby.
